It seems remarkable that this photo was taken only three months ago when Jason Sterne Builders presented us with high vis vests they kindly donated. Our first litter pick took place just after.

With 22 litter picks completed, 200 bags of litter collected, a group of almost 50 volunteers and our own equipment we are amazed and delighted at our progress.

We are continuing to pick throughout the year, not just for the summer season, so do please say hello if you see us out and about as it spurs us on.

The AI generated marketing backlash continues as the public become all too aware to computer generated content.

Both of these images have been created in AI but the one on the right uses an actual photo and therefore looks far more real and relatable.

When will businesses learn that effective marketing needs a little bit of human effort.

How often do you come across a retail business making very obvious mistakes? Examples include:

Opening hours not displayed or incorrect
Dirty windows and signage
Social media with out of date information
Out of date website or broken links

It’s well worth taking a look through the “third eye” at your business… or asking us to. [email protected]

To create this AI poster took literally about 30 seconds and, you probably agree, on first glance it looks pretty good.

However, it also looks like everything else out there and makes you appear lazy.

You still can’t beat traditional design skills that address your audience in a personal and thoughtful way.

We can help. Message on here or email [email protected]

Two leaflets received through the letterbox yesterday so obviously designed by AI. For some reason the algorithm favours dark colours, often black and gold and in a certain style.

And note, using AI for the simple job of removing the background has distorted the text, proving that caution is needed.

Isn’t the goal of marketing to stand out? There is clearly still a role for traditional graphic design.

After social media revolutionised online marketing is AI the next wave? Will the standardised approach win through or is there still a place for traditional, individual design?

This fake booking for 10 Downing Street exposes the dangers of a massive booking platform run by AI.

Let’s hope it leads to change.
