⛺️⛺️A big Thank You….
Last weekend marked the end of our busy season and as we head into autumn, we can finally slow things down a little and enjoy a more peaceful, gentler pace on site… we’re still open until the 31st October if anyone fancies an Autumn break ⛺️🍁
I’d meant to get up on stage at the Campout on Saturday to thank our amazing team, but with everything going on, I completely forgot! So instead, here’s a very overdue but very heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has worked so hard behind the scenes to help make this summer our best one yet. We really couldn’t do it without you all.
Gary, our warden, has spent the season looking after the site, helping campers and generally being there whenever he’s needed. We’re so lucky to have him! He’s also been tuning drums for The Coyotes, advising on sound equipment and helping us get our music nights off the ground! 🥁🎤
Our amazing cleaning team — Linda, Janet and Paul — have done such a brilliant job keeping the facilities clean and tidy all season. And with the heat we’ve had, they’ve had the never-ending battle of sand in the showers to contend with! The number of lovely reviews we’ve had this summer specifically mentioning how clean the facilities are is a real credit to you all. 🧹✨
Ricky Banks & Ben managed to juggle the demands of the farm and farmyard alongside maintenance, repairs and all the other jobs that constantly crop up around the site. There’s always something needing doing and they’ve been there to get it sorted.
Our two boys, Josh and Ollie, deserve a special mention too. They’ve had endless requests thrown at them — catering, grass care, shopping, moving things, website alterations and probably a hundred other jobs — often at the very last minute! Somehow they never complain and just get on with it. We couldn’t have done this summer without you both.
A huge thank you to Vinnies Pizza for keeping everyone fed with your delicious pizzas 🍕 and James from Jolly Roger Fish & Chips for our regular Friday fish & chips. Also to Hannah and Adam from Bar and Away - Mobile Bars , whose bar has been such a popular addition to the site this year. It’s been brilliant having you with us. 🍹. Our visiting ice cream van Mrs Whippy has also been a popular new addition to site 🍦
And finally Richard — who genuinely seems to never stop working during the summer! Somehow managing to run the farm, keep the campsite going, cook bacon baps for campers and work crazy hours behind the scenes to make everything happen. I honestly don’t know where you find the energy!
But of course, a huge THANK YOU to all of our campers too. ⛺️
Thank you for choosing to spend your holidays with us, for bringing such a brilliant atmosphere to the site and for making the summer what it has been. It’s been lovely welcoming so many people visiting us for the very first time, as well as seeing so many of our regular campers returning year after year.
So, to every single one of you — our team, our suppliers, our campers and everyone who has played a part in making this summer so special — THANK YOU.
And what a way to finish the season with our End of Summer Campout. 🎶⛺️☀️

We’re looking forward to a little bit of downtime over the winter before we start the process of building the site back up for 2027.
Bookings are already coming in for next year, so if you’re hoping to come for a bank holiday, one of the busy periods, or you have a favourite pitch we’d advise booking early.
Sorry this is so long…. So many people make Creekside happen so there’s a lot of people to thank!!
