Church of St Helen and another gift for Sandra
By accident, we stumbled across St Helen's Church, West Keal, and glad we did. St Helen's Church, West Keal, was built of green sandstone and brick on a rise above the village in 1623. Sandra talks all about bell ringing and the history of church bells and at 3pm the bells ring out much to our surprise. Part of the church was rebuilt in 1866 and after the church tower fell in September 1881, it was rebuilt in c1844. Inside are exquisitely carved stone pillar capitals, Norman boss, interesting piscina and organ, originally from Lincoln Cathedral, but unfortunately not now in working condition (mice!). The views are incredible, and you can even see the Boston Stump. And can you guess what gift I have got for Sandra? We finish our day with a Chinese takeaway

Christmas lights a Garden centre a Castle and a Church
We have a look at some battery-operated Christmas lights, and then head to a local garden centre that's local but we haven't visited before. As it was a nice afternoon, we then head further to explore.
We visited Bolingbroke Castle is a ruined castle in Bolingbroke (now Old Bolingbroke) in Lincolnshire, England.
King Henry IV (also known as Henry Bolingbroke) was born at Bolingbroke Castle in Lincolnshire in April 1367
We then visit St Peter & St Paul Church is a historic, Grade II-listed medieval church located in the village of Old Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire PE23 4HH), sitting directly opposite the ruins of Bolingbroke Castle.

Lord Brothers Mablethorpe closing
We take a ride out to Mablethorpe and call in a Lord Brothers before it closes. We only buy some kitchen roll. We have a drive down to some beaches stopping off at Huttoft car terrace and Sandra has a walk on the beach on a windy cold day.
We stop at house in Chapel Saint Leonards that we had a look at when we were looking at properties. And visit the church in St Leonards and have a look inside and outside.
