This week we are saying goodbye to Julie after nearly 20 years of loyal service at BCHP, especially running the Lakeside Bar for the past decade. Julie has been amazing, taking the Bar from strength to strength and overcoming countless challenges.

She has successfully run hundreds of events in the bar (including being the star of Jack's personal favourite, Karaoke) and been an unwaveringly joyful landlady whether there were 2 in the bar or 200. She has helped make many improvements to the bar and even got the kitchen running, doubtless due to her own passion for cooking (inside joke!).

We will miss her can-do attitude and her tireless work ethic, quite apart from her wonderful character as a colleague and landlady to which we could not attempt do justice in this post, and to which thousands of our customers would attest. We wish her all the best on her new adventure down with her family in Cornwall, and she will always be welcome at BCHP.

We love you Julie and we are so grateful for your time with us.
