ving joined in 2014. The original part of the Crown Hotel was first built way back in 1260 and it has been growing ever since. As always with Knead Pubs, there’s something quirky and something traditional on the menu, whilst continuing to make the absolute most of locally sourced produce. The Crown is the perfect location for quick spot of lunch or a more formal dinner in the evening. We like to keep it casual though; although your surroundings will be grand we won’t expect you to don a ball gown or a bow tie!

A little behind the scenes update from The Crown Hotel.

Our new bar is starting to take shape, and although things look a little stripped back at the moment, it’s exciting to see the space slowly come back to life with new textures, finishes and details throughout.

While the refurbishment continues, we’re still serving food and drinks in our Courtyard Garden, Jewel Restaurant and Lounge as normal.

We can’t wait to welcome you into the finished space very soon.
