A special celebration and an exciting first for The Golden Lion Hotel! 🥂✨

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Vix and Tam's 5th wedding anniversary in our Ballroom, and it was also the first opportunity to put our two new large screens to use!

These fantastic additions to our Ballroom are perfect for everything from special celebrations and private events to conferences and corporate functions.

What a great evening we had last night at The Golden Lion for our Wh**ky & Food Pairing Experience. 🥃

Hosted by Matt Dudley, Johnnie Walker Brand Ambassador, guests enjoyed a selection of whiskies, including Glenkinchie 12-Year-Old, Singleton of Dufftown 12-Year-Old, Clynelish 14-Year-Old, Caol Ila 12-Year-Old and Johnnie Walker Black Label.

From lighter Lowland whiskies to the smoky flavours of Islay, guests had the chance to discover different styles and flavours, with each dram paired with a selection of food, including haggis bon bons, smoked salmon, braised short rib and Scottish cheeses.

A big thank you to Matt for sharing his knowledge and stories, and to everyone who joined us for the evening.

Following the success of the event, we're excited to announce the launch of The Golden Lion Wh**ky Tasting Club!

We'll be hosting more tastings, welcoming guest speakers and exploring different whiskies and food pairings. More details on memberships and upcoming events coming soon!✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our w**e and cheese tasting evening in support of Stirling Walking of the Marches. 🍷🧀

Hosted by Jeremy Perrot, W**e Development Manager, the evening brought together fine w**es and artisan cheeses, alongside an introduction to Stirling Walking of the Marches and a raffle to support its work.

It was fantastic to see so many people come along, enjoy the evening and support a great cause!
