Take a walk on the wild side. Park at the top of the hill and walk to Staple Tor or Cox Tor. Beautiful views over Dartmoor. Easy walk with great climbing and moderate gradients.

Wild Swimming on Dartmoor. There are many spots throughout Dartmoor where you can swim in the natural or man made lakes, ponds, rivers and streams. A quick Google and you can leave with map and towel in hand.

A most refreshing activity during the summer sunshine, maybe a bit more for the intrepid in the winter!

As always, caution should be taken when swimming or crossing rivers, but we are sure both our 2 and 4 legged visitors will enjoy a paddle in the beautiful waters of Dartmoor.

Cycling near us. We are blessed with a little bit of everything and is absolutely ideal for those of us that love to ride our bikes.

Throw in the opportunity to go cycling in Dartmoor National Park, cycle coast to coast, ride the picturesque coastline of the English Riviera or check out some of Devon’s cycle trails, and you can see why Devon cycling holidays are becoming increasingly popular, particularly for those living within the UK.

We have a secure storage shed for your bike equipment and room for a trailer if you need it.

We even have a off road down hill track down the road from us. Everything you could want, for every type of bike ride.
