My 13 year old Labrador, Maggie, always reminds me of the many Attitudinal Healing Principles that guide me in my attitude towards life...in the funniest, mischevious, self-assured kind of ways! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜

Especially the Principles:
9. We are students and teachers to each other.
4. We can let go of the past and of the future.
6. We can learn to love ourselves and others by forgiving rather than judging.
7. We can become love finders rather than fault-finders.
8. We can choose and direct ourselves to be peaceful inside regardless of what is happening outside.
10. We can focus on the whole of life rather than the fragments.
11. Since love is eternal, death need not be viewed as fearful.

Wow, I can see a whole lot more videos coming!!!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ‚ AUTUMN EQUINOX WOMENโ€™S CIRCLE ๐Ÿ‚

Walking โ€ข Connection โ€ข Community โ€ข Solidarity

As the wheel of the year turns and day and night find balance, join us for an evening of gentle walking, reflection and connection, across the Heather and up the hill to Caisteal Suidhe CHeannaidh, the ancient stone fort that overlooks Kilchrenan.

Weโ€™ll head outdoors together for an autumnal walk, taking time to notice the changing season, breathe deeply and reconnect with ourselves and the natural world.

Once we reach our destination we shall gather in circle โ€” a space for community, conversation, laughter and solidarity. A chance to pause, share, listen and simply be amongst other women, without judgement or agenda.

๐Ÿ 6pm โ€“ 8pm
๐Ÿฅพ Gentle guided walk
๐Ÿ”ฅ Womenโ€™s circle & seasonal reflection
๐Ÿค Community & solidarity
๐Ÿฅ— Bring a little finger food to share
๐ŸŒฟ Come as you are

As the season shifts from abundance towards letting go, weโ€™ll take a little time to reflect on what weโ€™re carrying with us โ€” and what weโ€™re ready to release.

Come and walk, share, connect and celebrate the strength of women and community. ๐ŸคŽ

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

We shall be walking across uneven, wet boggy ground. You must have reasonable level of fitness and be steady on your feet. Waterproof trousers and sturdy waterproof boots are essential as the grass is long and this will keep you warm, dry and protected against ticks

This is a free event but tickets are essentail as we are limiting numbers to a maximum of 10 due to the sensitive nature of the landscape and environment

Comment yes if youโ€™d like to join us!

Nature uses no words,
yet she speaks to us.
She offers us timelessness.
An invitation into presence.
A quietening of the mind.
And beauty that asks nothing of us.

On my daily walk here on the West Coast of Scotland, Iโ€™m reminded again and again that sometimes we donโ€™t need to do anything.

We simply need to stop.
To notice.
To breathe.
To listen.

And let nature speak.

Last night's Lunar Lammas Women's Circle reminded me that harvest comes in many forms.

Yes, there were bunches of wildflowers gathered from nature, colourful dishes lovingly prepared from the season's abundance, and plates overflowing with fresh, vibrant food. But the greatest harvest wasn't on the tableโ€ฆ

It was the gathering itself.

Around the fire we slowed down. We shared food, stories, movement, laughter and silence. We listened deeply. We remembered what it feels like to belong in community.

As our hands learned the ancient rhythm of weaving corn dollies, I was struck by how something beautiful is created one fold at a time. Just like trust. Just like friendship. Just like community.

Traditionally, a corn dolly was made from the last sheaf of the harvest and kept in the home throughout the winter as a symbol of gratitude, abundance and hope. In spring, it was returned to the earth, honouring the endless cycle of endings, beginnings and renewal.

Perhaps that's what Lammas invites us to remember.

To pause.
To give thanks for all that has grown.
To gather the wisdom of this season.
And to carry it gently with us as the wheel begins to turn once more.

My heart is full of gratitude to every woman who came last night and helped create such a warm, welcoming circle. What we wove together was so much more than wheat.

If you'd like to know about the next women's circle feel free to dm me.

Lunar Lammas Women's Circle

As summer reaches its fullness and the grain is ready in the fields, we gather in circle to celebrate Lunar Lammas - a time of gratitude, abundance, friendship and heartfelt connection.

Let us pause on this sacred evening, reflect and give thanks for all that has grown within and around us during this season of light.

Together weโ€™ll honour the great Earth Mother and all her gifts, the visionary Aquarius full moon and explore the Attitudinal Healing Principle: "Giving and Receiving are the Same."

As we gather under this moon, we will:

โ€ข Celebrate the grain harvest and the abundance of the season as we eat together.
โ€ข Open our hearts, and remember that we are love.
โ€ข Honour the elements, especially Water, and share our own river song.
โ€ข We invite Hazel, the ninth tree of the Celtic Ogham to help channel our creativity.
โ€ข Connect with wisdom of our dreams and listen to inner knowing that is always there.
โ€ข In circle we journal and share stories, laughter, silence and heartfelt conversation.
โ€ข We prepare ourselves for the changes that the turning seasons bring.
โ€ข We craft a Grain Mother doll and weave intentions into every twist and turn.

You're invited to bring:
โ€ข A seasonal plate of food from your garden (or somewhere close) to share.
โ€ข Wild flowers for the shrine, to honour the Grain Mother.
โ€ข A journal, if you wish.
โ€ข Wear bright, joyful colours to reflect the warmth and abundance of the season.

My first feed of hand picked chanterelles was a special treat for us! Found them out in the woods, and whilst quite small, I managed to find enough bigger ones for a special lunch! Left the smaller ones to grow.
Thank you mother nature for always providing. There is enough, always. As I learn more about your cycle, I appreciate it more and more, each unfolding season.

While other parts of the UK and Europe are experiencing heatwaves, it's been a while since we had a decent sunny day here on the west coast of Scotland.

Despite the constant rain, our produce is growing and the trees are going wild!
It's a jungle out there and the midges love it!

We celebrated Beltane in our Wednesday Women's Group by making witches ladders - a ritual form of knot magic! Each knot tied I spoke my intention; "You've got this! There is nothing to fear because you are love."

We placed the 9 sacred woods on the fire - an old tradition of Beltane, honouring & sharing their underlying energies. We gently wove the woods and other meaningful materials into our ladder and hung up, it anchors its energy in my gathering space.

We enjoyed wild garlic pesto and nettle & lemon cake too!

Each piece of wood reminds me...
Birch - life is a rebirth over & over like the seasons
Rowan - to vision the future & for protection
Willow - to trust my intuition
Ash - is the key to Universal Truth
Hawthorn - I am LOVE and I release blocked energy
Holly - to restore balance & direction
Elder - for transformation & wisdom
Yew - death & rebirth is a never-ending cycle
Oak - My birth tree to remind me of my Inner strength & self-determination
