A Years Ownership at Penally Grange

“We honestly don’t know how we ever managed without it…”

Looking back over 2026, we’ve realised just how much we’ve enjoyed having our own little escape at **Penally Grange**.

Spring weekends by the coast, lazy summer mornings, autumn walks through Pembrokeshire and those spontaneous trips when we simply fancied getting away for a few days.

It’s not just the lodge we love — it’s having somewhere that feels like ours.

Tenby for lunch, Saundersfoot for a wander, a walk along the beach, a coffee on the decking… and sometimes doing absolutely nothing at all!

We’ve made some lovely memories this year and, perhaps best of all, we know we’ve got somewhere waiting for us whenever we need that little break from everyday life.

2026 has definitely made us glad we took the plunge.

HOW MUCH CAN I ACTUALLY PERSONALISE?

Here's where Penally Grange gets particularly interesting…

Because buying a lodge doesn't necessarily mean choosing something from a catalogue and saying:

“Yep, that'll do.”

Here are 5 questions we get asked:

** Can I choose the layout?**
Yes. New lodges can be designed with input from the architect to create a floor plan that works for you.

** Can I choose the interior?**
Yes. The interior can be individualised to your own tastes, with guidance from the experienced interior design team.

**3️⃣ Can I choose the colours and finishes?**
Absolutely. That's part of the design process — choosing the finishes and details that make the lodge feel like yours.

**4️⃣ Can I add luxury extras?**
Depending on your requirements, options can include things such as underfloor heating, sound systems, American-style fridge freezers, bifold doors and w**e coolers. Optional extras are priced separately, so the exact specification should always be confirmed when you receive your quotation.

**5️⃣ Can I have storage for all the outdoor stuff?**
Yes. Integral external storage rooms and utility spaces can be added to help keep all that holiday paraphernalia under control. Bikes, boards, beach gear… you know the sort of thing! 😎

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU'RE NOT USING YOUR LODGE?

This is probably one of the biggest questions people ask us.

“Can I actually make use of my lodge when I'm not there?”

So, here are 5 things worth knowing:

**Can my lodge be used for holiday letting?**
Yes. Penally Grange has lodges available through **Hoseasons**, with rental arrangements managed through the relevant letting process.

** Do I have to let my lodge?**
No. The whole point of owning your own holiday lodge is that you can enjoy it yourself, subject to the terms of your agreement.

**Can I use it myself during popular holiday periods?**
Your personal use can be planned around your letting arrangements and the applicable park terms.

**Who deals with rental availability?**
Penally Grange directs rental enquiries to Hoseasons, rather than handling rental availability directly.

** Is rental income guaranteed?**
No — rental income will depend on things such as demand, availability, lodge specification and the periods you make it available.

The nice thing is that your lodge doesn't have to sit empty when you're back home.

It can be your Pembrokeshire escape AND potentially earn rental income when you're not using it.
