Per Ardua is a spacious, detached house, surrounded by extensive private gardens and situated in the pretty village of Penally. A delightful patio area with furniture and a barbecue is the perfect place to relax in the warmth of the afternoon and evening sun. The property is furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard making this an ideal choice for that special holiday. The village shop, pubs and local restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Tenby town is just a mile away and easy access to the spectacular Pembrokeshire National Park coastal paths is just a short walk away. A regular bus service runs through the village and the railway station is conveniently situated near the village centre.

I couldn't resist this phone snap on my Sunday dog walk this morning, 6.5 degrees in the car park, well done to this hardy soul on the South beach at 7.18 today.

As if Pembrokeshire needed another reason to be proud, the beautiful coastal county has come out on top in a new study examining air pollution levels across Wales! 🌊❤️

New research has revealed that Pembrokeshire has the lowest levels of fine-particle air pollution of any Welsh county, beating neighbouring Ceredigion, Anglesey and Gwynedd.

The study, carried out by Online Marketing Surgery and Water and Air Management using government data, measured levels of tiny airborne particles known as PM2.5, which can affect human health.

Pembrokeshire recorded an average of just 3.93 micrograms per cubic metre, followed closely by Ceredigion at 3.97 and Anglesey at 4.20.

With its spectacular coastline, beautiful countryside, unspoilt beaches and miles of coastal paths, Pembrokeshire has long been a favourite destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

From the colourful harbour of Tenby to the stunning beaches of Barafundle Bay, Saundersfoot and the wild landscapes of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, there’s certainly no shortage of places to enjoy the fresh sea air!

✨ TENBY CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH-ON 2026! ✨

It’s nearly that time of year again, Tenby! 🎅🎄
Join us on Saturday 28th November for a full day of festive fun as we get ready to light up our beautiful town for Christmas!
There’s something for everyone, with festivities taking place across Tudor Square, High Street and the grounds of St Mary’s Church.

🎁 Christmas Charity Market – from 10am
Get a head start on your Christmas shopping with local stalls, crafts, gifts, food and drink. A great opportunity to support our local traders, charities and small businesses.

🎶 Live music and entertainment – from 10.30am Steve Briers Disco Roadshow
We’ve got a fantastic programme of singers, dancers, live music and festive entertainment throughout the day, including the Tenby Round Table Santa Run at 11am! 🏃‍♂️🎅

🎡 Fair rides, hot and cold drinks, party games, carnival games and plenty more to keep the whole family entertained.

🚤 Santa’s BIG arrival – 5pm!
And, of course, the moment we’ve all been waiting for! Father Christmas will arrive by RNLI lifeboat before making his way from the harbour with a blue-light es**rt from our friends in the fire brigade, Coastguard and RNLI, ready to help us switch on Tenby’s Christmas lights! 🎅🚒🚨

We’re looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike for a brilliant day celebrating our town, our community and the start of the festive season.
