Crisp, clear skies here in Whitby today. Watched the dredger “Sandsend” returning to Whitby harbour this morning on my way to Whitby RNLI lifeboat station. Have you got your Autumn break booked in? Hope to see you soon

Did you notice that the lifeboats were not in their usual place? Maybe you spotted them on the other side of the bridge? Well it looks likely they will be back at the station soon as the dredger has been to clear the pen of silt and mud today. I shall be glad to see them back home where they belong
