Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park is an award winning touring park on the outskirts of Whitby, North Yorkshire.

Set in the beautiful undulating country side of the North Yorkshire Moors coastline and is only one mile away from the centre of Whitby. All the pitches are level with electric hook-ups and hard-standings and most of the pitches have a sea-view. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. The Park is only one mile away from the centre of Whitby and on an half hourly bus route. Reasonably priced taxis are also available to and from the town centre.

As we start to reflect on another season here at Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park, we can’t help but look back at the highs, the challenges, and all the wonderful people who have visited us along the way this season.

We know we can’t please everyone all of the time, and let’s be honest, sometimes one negative experience can knock you for six, especially when you put so much time, effort and passion into what you do.

But then a review like this comes along, and suddenly, it makes you realise that you are doing a fantastic job!

🏕️ Do you have static caravans?
No, we’re a seasonal touring caravan and motorhome park.

🏡 Do you have holiday cottages?
Yes! We have 5 beautiful holiday cottages. Head to our website to discover them all!

📅 When are you open?
🚐 Touring: March to late October
🏡 Holiday cottages: Open all year round!

🐶 Are dogs welcome?
Absolutely! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per touring pitch and 1 dog in selected holiday cottages.

🐾 Do you have dog facilities?
Yes! We have a warm dog shower, an enclosed dog exercise field and a beautiful beach just a 5 minute walk away.

🚌 Is there a bus service?
Yes! The bus stop is right outside the site, with buses running every 30 minutes.

🛍️ Do you have an onsite shop?
Yes, we have a small onsite shop for those essentials.

🚿 What facilities do you offer?
We have 2 shower blocks, washing-up facilities, washing machines, dryers and motorhome service points.

🎾 Do you have a play park?
We don’t have a play park, but we do have a tennis court, a playing field and the beach just a 5 minute walk away!

Important Travel Information – A169 Blue Bank Road Closure

We would like to make you aware of an important road closure that may affect your journey to us.

A169 Blue Bank – Pickering to Whitby
Monday 19 October to Friday 23 October
Daily from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm

The A169 at Blue Bank is scheduled to close for essential annual highway maintenance between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm each day from Monday 19 October to Friday 23 October.

The road is not expected to remain closed overnight.

A diversion will be in place via Scarborough, using the A170 and A171.

Alternative route: A1(M) – A19 – A172 – A171.

Please allow extra time for your journey or consider planning an alternative route.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to welcoming you to Sandfield House Farm.
