We are so saddened to hear about the devastating fires at Dunwich. Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected, and we are incredibly grateful to all of the emergency services working so hard to bring the situation under control.

We would like to reassure all of our campers that **Brick Kiln Farm Campsite has not been affected** and we are operating as normal.

As many of you will know, we introduced a **ban on fire pits and barbecues a couple of weeks ago** because of the exceptionally dry conditions. We completely understand this may be disappointing, but the events at Dunwich have shown just how quickly a fire can spread and why these precautions are so important.

The safety of our guests, our countryside, and our local community will always be our priority. Thank you for your understanding and support.

We're always delighted to welcome returning guests, and it was lovely to see Sophia back at Brick Kiln Farm Campsite.

Sophia has a real talent for wildlife photography, specialising in capturing the beauty and character of our wonderful Suffolk hares. They are such shy, elusive creatures, so photographing them takes incredible patience, skill and an understanding of their behaviour.

👽 **Have the aliens landed at Brick Kiln Farm?** 👽

We're only a short drive from the famous Rendlesham Forest, where many believe a UFO landed all those years ago...

Now we're beginning to wonder if a few little visitors have found their way to our campsite! 🛸

Over the past few weeks, tiny green aliens have been mysteriously appearing all around the site. One day they're peeping out from a flowerpot, the next they're sitting on a fence post or hiding by the washing-up area.

The funny thing is... nobody seems to know quite how they keep moving! 👀

If you're coming to stay, keep your eyes peeled. You might spot one before anyone else does. And if one happens to wander to a new hiding place... well... we'll let you decide whether that was human or extraterrestrial! 😉

**And just like that… the summer has drawn to a close.**
It feels like only a heartbeat ago that we were opening for the camping season at Brick Kiln, ready to welcome both familiar faces and new campers. Back then, the summer stretched out ahead of us – yet in what seems no time at all, another season has come to an end.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful campers who stayed with us this year. Thank you for valuing the peace and quiet, and for kindly observing our few requests (we prefer not to call them rules!). Thank you too for your honesty and trust in the shop – it means so much.

We’ll reopen again for the **early May Bank Holiday 2026** and look forward to welcoming you back.

Until then, we wish you a happy, cosy autumn and winter ahead.
