💙 Another fantastic grassroots community group supported by the Dobies Cumbria Charitable Trust! 🐴✨

The Inter-School Hobby Horse Competition was back for its second year on 2nd July – and thanks to generous funding from the Dobies Cumbria Charitable Trust, pupils were able to enjoy another fantastic day of competition! 🏆

Teams from Derwent Vale, Wiggonby, St Patrick’s (Workington), St Begh’s and Greystoke Primary Schools took part in a variety of show jumping classes, testing their skills in speed, power and remembering those tricky courses! 🐎💨

But it’s about much more than competition. 💙 The event gives pupils the opportunity to represent their school, try something completely new and enjoy being part of a fun, grassroots community event.

We’re proud to support initiatives that bring local schools and communities together. 🙌
