Some things are best left simple.

Just quality produce, attention to detail, and people who care about doing things properly.

From the venison we choose to the way each Wellington is prepared, every part of the process matters. Nothing overcomplicated, nothing there for show. Just good ingredients treated with the respect they deserve.

Because simple food only works when every ingredient earns its place.

A glimpse into what goes into one of our favourite dishes, and your gentle reminder that Welly Wednesday returns tomorrow.

Some traditions are worth keeping. Tomorrow, our famous venison wellington takes pride of place on the menu. Golden pastry wrapped around rich, flavourful venison, served with all the trimmings and plenty of gravy. Simple, hearty and made for autumn evenings. Welly Wednesday returns tomorrow, serving every Wednesday until 18th November.

Pull up a chair and settle in for a cosy autumn evening. Booking is recommended.
