Herz-Jesu-Fest: Wenn Berge brennen

Die Feuer zur Sommersonnenwende sind uralt. Seit dem 12. Jahrhundert belegen Schriften die Johannisfeuer - heidnischer Dank an die Sonne auf ihrem Höhepunkt.

1796 schrieb Tirol Geschichte um: Napoleon stand vor der Tür. In höchster Not weihten die Landstände das ganze Land dem "Heiligsten Herzen Jesu". Ihr Versprechen: Wir erinnern uns. Jedes Jahr.

Auch heute flammen Kreuze und Herzen auf den Gipfeln. Christlicher Schwur trifft vorchristlichen Sonnenkult. Feuer, das seit über 200 Jahren nie erloschen ist.

Wir in Feldthurns verbinden es mit der Prozession, dem Konzert im Schloss Velthurns u dem abendlichen Einzug zum Trumbühel mit dem Anzünden des
Herz-Jesu-Feuers.

Festa del Sacro Cuore: Quando le montagne ardono

I fuochi del solstizio d’estate sono antichissimi. Già dal XII secolo i documenti attestano i fuochi di San Giovanni - un ringraziamento pagano al sole nel suo massimo splendore.

Nel 1796 il Tirolo riscrisse la sua storia: Napoleone era alle porte. In un momento di estremo pericolo, i rappresentanti del Tirolo consacrarono solennemente l’intera terra al "Sacro Cuore di Gesù". La loro promessa: ce ne ricorderemo. Ogni anno.

Ancora oggi croci e cuori fiammeggiano sulle cime. Il giuramento cristiano incontra l’antico culto solare. Un fuoco che da oltre 200 anni non si è mai spento.

Noi a Velturno uniamo questa tradizione alla processione, al concerto nel Castello di Velturno e al corteo serale verso il Trumbühel con l’accensione del fuoco del Sacro Cuore.
