🇮🇹 Una delle escursioni più particolari da fare in Toscana? 🗡️

A circa 1 ora e 20 minuti dal nostro agriturismo si trova un luogo che unisce storia, leggenda e un pizzico di mistero: San Galgano.

Qui puoi vedere una vera spada conficcata nella roccia, custodita all’interno dell’Eremo di Montesiepi. Secondo la tradizione, fu il cavaliere Galgano Guidotti a piantarla lì nel XII secolo come simbolo della rinuncia alla vita guerriera. ⚔️

Poco distante sorge la celebre Abbazia di San Galgano, una chiesa senza tetto immersa nella campagna toscana che lascia sempre a bocca aperta.

Non è la meta più vicina a Montespertoli, ma per chi ama i luoghi fuori dal comune e non si spaventa per qualche chilometro in più, è una gita che vale assolutamente la pena. 🚗☀️

Here you can see a real sword embedded in a stone, preserved inside the Hermitage of Montesiepi. According to tradition, it was placed there in the 12th century by the knight Galgano Guidotti as a symbol of his decision to renounce a life of warfare. ⚔️

Just a short distance away stands the famous Abbey of San Galgano, a roofless church set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, whose unique beauty never fails to impress.

Per noi l’ambiente non è qualcosa di cui parlare solo oggi. È qualcosa di cui prenderci cura ogni giorno.

Lo facciamo tra i vigneti e gli uliveti che circondano Le Fonti a San Giorgio, scegliendo di coltivare nel rispetto della terra e del paesaggio che ci ospita. 🌿

Da anni abbiamo abbandonato diserbanti e concimi chimici e, dalla vendemmia 2020, i nostri vigneti sono certificati biologici. 🍇

Sono scelte che richiedono impegno, ma che ci permettono di contribuire a preservare questo angolo di Toscana per chi lo vive oggi e per chi lo vivrà domani.

Perché la bellezza di queste colline nasce anche dalla cura che mettiamo nel proteggerle. 🌱☀️

For years, we have abandoned herbicides and chemical fertilizers, and since the 2020 harvest our vineyards have been organically certified. 🍇
