Alle tre e un quarto il Canal Grande cambia rumore. 🌊

Prima i remi, poi i colori: le bissone risalgono l’acqua in fila, i remiganti in costume, i vogatori che si chiamano da una barca all’altra. 🚣‍♂️✨

Da qui il corteo passa davanti al Giardino delle Rose. A pochi metri, oltre il muretto di pietra, con l’ombra degli alberi alle spalle e un bicchiere in mano. 🌹🌳🥂

At a quarter past three, the Grand Canal changes its sound. 🌊

First the oars, then the colours: the bissone make their way up the canal in a line, their crews in traditional costumes calling out from one boat to the next. 🚣‍♂️✨

From here, the procession passes by the Rose Garden. Just a few metres away, beyond the stone wall, with the shade of the trees behind you and a glass in your hand. 🌹🌳🥂
