Kindness starts with showing up 💛
On Monday, our Mövenpick Auckland team rolled up their sleeves to pack food parcels at Auckland City Mission as part of Mövenpick’s initiative.
Each parcel is carefully packed to provide one person with three meals a day for four days. The food bank prepares around 250 parcels every week, with demand increasing during school holidays when children don’t have access to school lunches.
Behind every parcel is a network of volunteers, donors and outreach teams helping food reach people who need it, including those in transitional housing and people living on the streets.
When we asked what helps most, the answer was simple: time, awareness and funding. All of it matters.
Kilo of Kindness continues until 27 November, and we’re proud to play our part in the community we call home.
