🎨☀️ A BIT OF A FACELIFT AT THE ADMIRALS! 🍻

If you've been cruising past Admirals Arms Coromandel lately, you might have noticed a bit of action happening upstairs!

With the sun shining, Kyle and I have decided it's the perfect time to dust off the paintbrushes, pretend we know what we're doing, and get stuck into opening up the upstairs deck for summer! 😂

A bit of paint, a bit of elbow grease and probably a few heated discussions about who's actually in charge of the paintbrush! 🍺

NOW... ABOUT THAT UPSTAIRS RESTAURANT! 👀

We know, we know! You've all been asking, and fair enough too!

Well, that's a story longer than a Coromandel fishing yarn, with a few more twists and turns than the Kopu-Hikuai Road! 🤣

But seriously, we know you're keen for answers, and you deserve an update.

Housie at Admirals Arms Coromandel is fast becoming a Tuesday night institution! Full tables, plenty of laughs, big smiles and a buzzing bar. The atmosphere has been absolutely brilliant! 🍻

🎣🐟 CALLING ALL ANGLERS – LABOUR WEEKEND FISHING COMPETITION! ☀️🏆

It's time to dust off the fishing rods, sort out the tackle boxes and get out fishing!

The Coromandel Recreational Fishing Club is gearing up for its annual Labour Weekend Fishing Competition, and we'd love to see plenty of locals, visitors and families getting amongst it!

📅 SUNDAY 25TH OCTOBER 2026

🎣 PLENTY OF CATEGORIES & PRIZES!

From Snapper and Kahawai to Kingfish, Trevally and even the most unusual catch, there's plenty for our anglers to aim for!

And for the littlest fishos, we've even got special categories for the under 6s! 🐟

🏆 PRIZE GIVING AT ADMIRALS ARMS COROMANDEL!

Once the fishing is done and the catches are weighed, we'll be gathering in the Admirals Arms Garden Bar from 5pm Sunday for the prize giving.

Bring the whānau along, celebrate the catches, even the ones that got away, enjoy some great food, cold drinks and a fantastic Labour Weekend atmosphere!
