In summer it’s the perfect spot to kick back with a cooling ale. 140 odd years ago people were probably doing much the same thing. No matter where you go in this country, you’ll always feel at home in a Classic Kiwi Pub like the Star and Garter. This iconic watering hole matches excellent beer and delicious food with friendly service and a character that’s all on its own.
