Great weekend over Labour weekend Te Pohue Camp. Three groups of Paddlers all on the Mohaka. Pack rafters on the upper reaches and then down on the grade 2 and 3. Coast to Coast training on the grade 2, and conventional recreational paddlers on the grade 2 and 3.
And around 30 Raftfishnz guests called in for a comfort stop after a trip down the Mohaka.
While all this is happening 2 people asked if they could bring schools......Yes of course!

Every now and then I get asked what can we do while at Te PĹŤhue Camp.
So here goes!
Nothing, some people like nothing, Watch the people watch the Kereru, sit and read. There is plenty of space.
Or!
Visit the Mohaka 15 minutes away. Swim fish raft kayak.
We are a great base to visit the DoC estate, Boundary Stream, Bell Rock or the Kawekas
Or! a round of golf within walking distance

I hate typing - here's some photos. They are easier to read!

Changing the camp. Restoring the old (not me) apple tree with abit of tuff love - probably nearly 75 years old. Also planting a new one over looking the accommodation and front lawns.
If the weather holds I start the new Camp Kitchen tomorrow ready for campers and school camps.
