What a week it’s been!

A big thank you to all the schools, teams, coaches, supporters and families who stayed with us during Sports Week.

It’s been fantastic having so many young athletes through the hotel, and we hope you had a great week both on and off the field. It’s been a pleasure to be part of your week in Nelson.

Our pool has been getting plenty of use this Sports Week, with teams making the most of a cold dip between games.

When you’ve got a busy schedule of matches, recovery becomes just as important as the time spent on the field. A quick dip in the pool gives athletes a chance to cool down, recover and reset before it’s time to get back out there.

It’s been great seeing the teams making the most of the facilities here at The Beachcomber. Play, recover, recharge and go again.

Spring is here… and Nelson is starting to wake up. 🌿

There’s something about the first days of spring that changes the feeling of a place.
The mornings are a little brighter, the days are getting longer, flowers are starting to appear, and there’s that familiar feeling that summer isn’t too far away.

Here at The Beachcomber, we love this time of year. It’s when Nelson starts to come alive again, from walks along Tāhunanui Beach to exploring the cafés, gardens, trails and everything else that makes our corner of the country so special.
