Out for a morning walk and looked up to see this incredible cloud formation over the town.

Known to locally as Rangataua Pet, this spectacular cloud is a familiar sight around Mt Ruapehu. It forms as air move over the mountain and with the strong winds we are experiencing today, it certainly made its presence felt.

A pretty spectacular way to start the day in Ohakune.
