We recently welcomed researchers from NTU Singapore for their coral growth study, conducted in partnership with Blue Alliance.

Using Casalay as their base for weighing corals and storing research equipment, they are studying how the same coral species grow in different conditions—comparing clear-water and murky-water sites.

We’re glad to play a small part in supporting research that helps us better understand and protect our marine ecosystems.💙

Small creatures, big personalities. 🦐🦀

Puerto Galera’s reefs are home to an incredible variety of shrimps and crabs, perfect for the macro lovers! Some blend perfectly into corals, sponges, and algae, while others form fascinating partnerships with their surroundings or other marine animals.

Shrimps and crabs are also an important part of the reef ecosystem. They help recycle organic matter, keep their habitats clean, and serve as food for larger reef animals.
