🌍 Hotel Lipa Hosts the 12th OSCE Dialogue Academy for Young Women
Hotel Lipa in Šempeter pri Gorici is hosting the 12th OSCE Dialogue Academy for Young Women from 8 to 17 October. This international educational programme aims to strengthen dialogue, mediation and peacebuilding skills.
Following its first edition at the hotel last year, which left a positive impression on participants, the Academy has returned to Hotel Lipa, with HIT once again entrusted by the organisers with hosting the event. The ten-day programme is organised by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo and the OSCE Mission to Serbia.
💬 Through workshops, expert discussions, film screenings and field visits, the Academy provides young women with opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences, while exploring ways to resolve disagreements, prevent conflicts and build trust.
🌉 An important part of the programme is also discovering the cross-border area of Nova Gorica and Gorizia, whose history of division and connection encourages reflection on coexistence, reconciliation, and the role of women and local communities in overcoming differences and fostering mutual understanding. For HIT, hosting the Academy in the Goriška region once again represents an important recognition and a confirmation of the organisers’ trust. With its high-quality accommodation and catering services, as well as its welcoming atmosphere, Hotel Lipa contributes to the successful delivery of the programme. 🏨
