They’re baaack! 🎃🍂

The talented Ashley Felton has returned to dress up our blue front door for fall, and we are so thrilled to welcome them back for a second install. Heirloom pumpkins, gourds, and all the Hill Country autumn feels.

The display is up through the week after Thanksgiving, so swing by for a coffee and snap a photo. 🧡

Still dreaming about Art in the Garden 🎨🌿

Thank you to everyone who wandered the garden with us Thursday night. We had great art, great company, and that golden Hill Country light.

Huge thanks to our artists: Hunter Ash (abstract), Madison Popkess | Watercolor Artist (watercolor), and Jonathan Howard | Fine Art (oil). If a piece caught your eye, reach out to them directly.

Cheers to Illahe Vineyards for the tasting pours and Catedral Mezcal for the tastings in the cabana 🥂 And thank you to Jessica Schumaker | Austin & Central Texas Photographer for capturing the evening so beautifully 📸

Missed it? More fall gatherings are coming, so keep an eye out. Until then, join us at The Wayback Cafe for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It’s better out here ✨

Join us Thursday, October 22nd from 9–11am for a Big Bend Watercolor Workshop at The Wayback. We’ll paint the sweeping mesas, golden light, and wide-open skies of West Texas, all from the comfort of our little Hill Country hideaway.

No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity (and maybe a friend). All materials provided ✨

Spots are limited. Grab yours at the link in Madison Popkess | Watercolor Artist bio!

Every neighborhood spot has its legend. Ours is Mr. Wayback
He comes for chef’s pickles and what he calls “the best coleslaw and meatloaf” he’s ever had, with a cold Birra L’IPA on the side. He never orders dessert, but his date always does, and somehow it never goes to waste. 🍋‍🟩
Come find your new usual. 📍 Westlake Hills
