⚡🌈 NOW THAT'S A ONE-IN-A-MILLION SHOT

Dalton Mitchell caught lightning and a rainbow sharing the same sky at the same moment Saturday, behind Shadowline Drive in Boone — right in the middle of the storm system that rolled through and delayed that night's App State game.

Two totally different kinds of weather magic, one frame. We don't see this combination very often in the High Country, so hats off to Dalton for having a camera ready at exactly the right second.
