Shasta today on the ridge. 10 years old and still going strong. She’s become much friendlier toward people as she’s gotten older.

It’s amazing how fast Sitka and Sierra are growing. In a few weeks they will be placed in the large enclosure with Koa, Shilo, and Shasta. Kudos to our pup sitters who have spent many hours each day making the pups feel comfortable around people. These two Arctic wolves are a welcome addition to the Howlers Inn Wolf sanctuary. By the way, we have a few room openings in September. Check our website at howlersinn.com for the exact days.

It’s in the mid-90s today. Sierra is making the best of it. Both Sitka and Sierra have a pool to splash in and an igloo to retreat to. But I’m sure they would prefer the winter weather as they are Arctic wolves.
