❌ “It's only one stump. I'll just dig it out with a shovel.”

That stump:

🌳 Roots going to China.
🌳 Somehow weighs 700 pounds.
🌳 Has survived three hurricanes.
🌳 Is apparently made of reinforced concrete.

Three hours later you're standing in a 4-foot hole questioning every decision you've ever made. 😂

Here's an even better question:

HOW DO WE AVOID THAT? 👀

Before you dig, YOU need to know what's underground.

Power.
Water.
Gas.
Internet/cable.
Irrigation.
Septic.
And anything else buried on the property.

Renting an excavator from us doesn't magically make underground utilities disappear. 😂

Have utilities properly located before digging and know your property.

The machine may belong to us…

But the hole you're digging belongs to YOU. 😂

Maybe.

But “the hydraulics picked it up” doesn't necessarily mean it's SAFE to lift. 👀

Every machine has limits.

And those limits change depending on:

👉 Weight
👉 Reach
👉 Height
👉 Position of the machine
👉 Attachment
👉 Ground conditions

The farther you reach out, the easier it becomes to turn a perfectly good excavator into a very expensive seesaw. 😂

MEASURE. THE. GATE. 😂

Not eyeball it.

Not “I'm pretty sure.”

Not “my mower fits.”

Actually measure it.

Machine width + attachments + access can completely change what equipment makes sense for your project.

We'd much rather figure that out BEFORE the machine arrives. 😂

Don't operate somewhere you don't feel comfortable.
Don't push a machine beyond its capabilities.
Don't ignore warning lights.
Don't keep operating if something feels wrong.
And don't let your buddy convince you:

“Dude, it'll totally do it.” 😂

You are responsible for the equipment while it's in your possession — but we're always a phone call away if you're unsure about something.

When in doubt, STOP and call.

We expect our machines to get dirty.

They're machines.

We don't expect you to bring it back looking freshly detailed from the dealership. 😂

BUT…

There's a difference between:

“Yep, they used it.”

and

“Is there still a skid steer underneath that mud?” 👀😂

Excessive mud, concrete, asphalt, paint, debris or other material that requires significant cleanup may result in cleaning charges.

Use it.

Get it dirty.

Get the job DONE. 💪

Just don't return us a 12,000-pound mud sculpture. 😂

We opened up this property so the new owner could actually see what he’s working with and decide where he wants to put his new house.
