Our team of staff is here to help guide you in making the best decisions on your next gear purchase and your next adventure near Bryson City. Our collection of hats, t-shirts, and stickers showcase in-house designs with something for the entire family! If you didn't come for the gear make sure to stay for the beer. Our taproom is full of an awesome and ever changing selection of craft brews from across the region, and we always put in the hard work to make sure everything we serve has been taste tested and approved! Today, we took a drive to Swananoa to pick up our newest merch! Check out these sweet Pirani Life insulated pint cups with lids! Another original design by Liz is etched into the side. It was fun seeing where they were made and meeting some folks in the warehouse. The drive was beautiful and the “wood bears” sign was part of the directions. 🍂🍻 🧡

L***r was the original BCO shop dog. The O.G. The real deal. He greeted our very first customers, inspired designs, modeled gear, and slept under desks to keep morale high during the work week. He boated, swam lakes, paddle boarded, ran the trails, and lived his best on his days off. L***r’s likeness was used for the first of our dog stickers. He won the hearts of our in-person customers and those following our social media from afar. He was featured in many photos and videos, even if he had to be bribed with treats. Speaking of treats, he never missed the UPS man. He lived a long and full life. He made a lot of friends and lost a lot of friends along the way. He was loyal to his people and grew to be quite the family man.

Today, L***r took his last swim. He left this realm in a peaceful way. He was surrounded by the ones he loved the most doing what he loved…one last time. He will forever be missed and remembered. 🐾🐾♥️💔
