Not every rental property project has to suck. 🌭🔨

Yesterday’s adventure at the Crafty Cottage:

Rotten deck board discovered.
Trip to Lowe’s.
$14 in lumber.
A little cutting, drilling and creative problem solving.
One more item crossed off the never-ending property maintenance list. ✅

And perhaps most importantly…

I rewarded myself with a hot dog from the cart in front of Lowe’s.

Total project cost: $14
Sense of accomplishment: priceless
Lowe’s hot dog: also pretty darn good. 😂

This is the not-so-glamorous side of owning and managing vacation rentals — but every once in a while, you get an easy win.

I’ll take it.

Beautiful day at the Carolina Beach Market! ☀️🌊

Local vendors, live music, good food, and that Carolina Beach sunshine. Just another reason we love being part of this community. 💙

If you’re at Carolina Beach on Saturday mornings, go check it out!
