🍁We're going to say something controversial: November might be the best month to camp.

Hear us out. There are no bugs. Nobody's sunburned. You can sit next to a campfire without sweating. Mornings call for a sweatshirt and something hot in a mug, and because fall color shows up late around Mammoth Cave, the leaves are usually still hanging on into early November.🍂

Jellystone Park™ Mammoth Cave is open year-round. And if you love the outdoors right up until it's time to sleep in them, our cabins have real beds and full kitchens. Make a pot of chili. Call it a night at 8:30. No one will know.
