Last night we had a wonderful night in lodge. We had a delicious dinner of chili and fixings provided by Brother Dewayne. We gave report to the lodge on the outcome of the electronic voting this year at the annual communication. We had the pleasure of seeing MWB Bill Bray who donated a special bottle of Johnny walker black label 12 year to use as a raffle prize to benefit our scholarship fund we are starting this year. All in all a wonderful night with our brethren.

As a side note tonight was also somber it was our Senior Warden Ed Arico’s last stated meeting with us before he moved to Pennsylvania later this month. I am certainly speaking for the lodge as a whole when I say we will miss him tremendously! Ed has been a pillar in our lodge the last few years and as Master I could not of asked for a better right hand man! Thank you Brother Ed for all you have done for our lodge and are graciously continuing to do from Pennsylvania the rest of the year. Love you Brother, we are always here for you!

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms we often take for granted, and their courage will never be forgotten. On this Memorial Day, may we reflect with gratitude, pray for the families they left behind, and strive to live lives worthy of their sacrifice. God bless our fallen heroes, and God bless America.
