Stay where history lives. The Cottage House has a long and colorful history of serving travelers. The hotel began as a three-room cottage, built in 1867. Today we have 26 rooms in our historic hotel, 10 rooms in our motel unit, a Honeymoon Cottage and Hardaway Hideaway. The Cottage House is nestled in the Flint Hills. et with many retail stores and restaurants in walking distance including Riverbank Brewing. As always, you are welcome to bring your own favorite snacks & beverages for your stay. Council Grove Marina Cove is 2-3 miles away where pontoons, canoes can be rented along with great fishing spots too!
