There are so many reasons that we love September in the Smokies. The towns are dressed for harvest and the streets are just a bit clearer. Both Cherokee and Douglas lake have enjoyment to experience and the Smokies are fabulous. It is often the most clear in months like September. Come and experience East Tennessee and fall in love with the area.
