July 11th, 2026 Annual Build Your Own Boat Race!!

We are moving the race to 2PM this year. We will have DJ Steve Markus from 2-5pm and then the South Rangers band (outside hopefully) in the evening.

Same rules as before a winning boat from previous years is not eligible to race. All boats need to be homemade and constructed of common household/garage/shop type materials.

Prizes, live music, yard games, food specials all day......

Some of you may have caught the Squid City Slingers last year and know it was a rela treat. The were recently featured on a PBS special (see below) and will be back at the Pequaywan Inn this Saturday, May 23rd, at 7PM. You don't want to miss them as it is really a special night of entertainment!!!!!

Squid City Slingers are a Minnesota group blending bluegrass, folk, country and jazz. Songs are marked with driving upright bass, fiery fiddle and flat-picking guitar, pairing heartfelt originals with handpicked covers.
