🎃🕸️👻🧙‍♂️ Halloween is so much fun in Estes! All the shop owners hand out candy, there's locals (and anyone who wants to join) dancing thriller in the middle of the Moraine & Big Horn intersection, the fire department 🚒 is there, the police department 🚓 🚨 is there, the ambulances 🚑 are there and kids can explore through them, churches ⛪ are there handing out popcorn and cotton candy! Bundle up, dress up and celebrate Halloween with us. We are walking distance to all the fun. Come stay at The Maxwell Inn and experience Halloween the Estes way! 🎃🕸️👻🧙‍♂️

Due to the forecast for snow, low visibility and freezing temperatures beginning tonight, Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park will be closing at 5 p.m. tonight, on Friday, October 23, 2026.

The closure points will be at Many Parks Curve on the east side of RMNP and at Colorado River Trailhead on the west side.

The recorded status line for Trail Ridge Road is available at 970-586-1222.
