We've got something we are genuinely excited to share!
Real workaway-style trade opportunities!
Camp Land Beyond Zion — a glamping campground on the Arizona/Utah line in Cane Beds, tucked between BLM land and Zion National Park, with Cottonwood Point Mesa as our backdrop. We're not a "check in, keep to yourself" kind of place. We're continuing the legacy of this place as a basecamp for the nomadic and adventure community — two full kitchens, a bathhouse, a campfire ring, a communal hot tub, shaded hangouts, and easy access to Zion, Bryce, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and Grand Staircase-Escalante.
Most importantly, this is all about building, sharing, and nurturing community!
Right now, we're looking to bring a handful of talented people out here to lend their skills in exchange for a free place to land — real workaway-style trades. You bring what you're good at, we give you a spot to camp, plug into the amenities, and be part of our little pack, as we call it, while you're here.
Here's what we could genuinely use help with right now:
🌐 Social media & marketing — help us tell our story better than we've been telling it 💰 Accounting / bookkeeping setup — getting our small-business books structured and sustainable 🔨 Building & construction — hands-on projects around camp 🌱 Fall garden crew — weeding, planning, prepping, and planting a fall garden using permaculture and regenerative principles 🎨 Muralists / artists — we want our bathrooms to feel like art, not utility, and we have a whole 5th wheel trailer just waiting to be covered top to bottom in a mural 🎉 Event planning — help us host gatherings that bring this community together ♻️ Sustainability program — someone to help us plan and actually implement our vision, not just talk about it 🖌️ Signage — painted or otherwise, camp needs some personality on its signs 🏜️ Landscape projects — shaping the land around camp ✍️ Bloggers / writers — website content, hiking guides, and other collateral that helps future guests fall in love with this place before they even arrive.
And honestly? If you've got a skill that's not on this list but you think it'd be useful here — tell us. Some of the best contributions come from things we didn't think to ask for.
This is a real trade: your time and talent for a place to camp, plugged into a community that's trying to build something worth sticking around for. Arrangements are flexible depending on your skills and how long you're able to stay — let's talk specifics once you reach out.
One more thing — we need help ASAP. If your rig isn't pointed toward Cane Beds right now but you still want in, we're happy to talk about trading remote help today (social media, writing, bookkeeping, event planning — anything that doesn't require boots on the ground) for a spot to camp with us later this year.
So even if the timing's off, don't count yourself out — reach out anyway.
