🆘 Palisades is looking for volunteers for the winter and the 2027 camping season! We have a range on needs and can help train. Positions include:

*Tree care - some planting, watering, and pruning 🌳
*Mower - Mow a variety of parks and some w**d eating 🚜
*Office - Give great customer service and help sell entrance license 🤝
*Maintenance - Cleaning the group lodge, firepits, wrap wood, water trees, and some mowing and w**d eating at times. 🪵

The maintenance position has the possibility of living on site via full hook-up camp spot. 🏕 The others are commuter positions; all are flexible on days/hours each week.

Winter Is Coming… But Camping Doesn’t Have to End!

All comfort stations have officially closed for the season, BUT don’t despair! Winter is still a great time to enjoy the outdoors and make lasting memories at Palisades State Park. Enjoy the crisp winter air around a campfire, stay warm in one of our heated camping cabins, or gather the family and friends for a getaway at our group lodge.

We also have a variety of campsites available year-round! Frost-free hydrants are available at select locations throughout the park, and vault toilets remain open year-round for your convenience. Currently the water fill and dump station is open!

📣2027 Park Entrance Licenses Now Available!!!

That's right - you can now purchase the 2027 annual licenses, valid until May 2028. 👀 That's 20 months of South Dakota State Parks for a low, one time cost. This time of year is perfect too. Fall colors are upon us, parks are quieter, and wildlife are on the move. 🍂🍁🦌🦃

Remember, Entrance license are required year-round. We also offer camping and lodgeing (cabins & group lodge) 3️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ days a year too.
