Morning-after thoughts… and I’m still not over this one. 🤎✨

We started strike at 11:00 last night and I didn’t crawl into bed until around 2 AM… but here I am this morning laying here looking through photos because Vee & Wuzu’s wedding was just THAT beautiful.

The outdoor ceremony was absolutely a showstopper — rich burgundy, rust, terracotta, layers of texture and those lush florals surrounded by the trees. But then you walked inside…

HOLY MOLY.

The emerald green linens. The gold details. The candlelight. The greenery winding down the tables. Those deep jewel-toned florals against that gorgeous room. 😍

It was warm, romantic, dramatic and completely full of personality — and seeing everything we had been designing and building for weeks finally come together was such a moment.

And can we please talk about Vee?! She looked absolutely STUNNING, and seeing her holding the bouquet I created for her made my heart so happy. 🥹

Days like yesterday are long. They’re sweaty, exhausting, and there is a LOT happening behind the scenes that nobody ever sees. But then I get to stand back for a second and see a room like this before the doors open… and yep. Worth it.

Congratulations, Vee & Wuzu! Thank you for trusting Lavish with such a beautiful part of your day. 🤎

Now excuse me while I remain horizontal for just a little while longer. 😂

A little Saturday setup sneak peek… 👀🌿🍂

We’ve been busy bringing Vee & Wuzu’s ceremony vision to life today, and I had to share just a tiny peek before the “I do’s.”

Rich burgundy, rust, warm terracotta, lush greenery and alllllll the texture — tucked into this gorgeous outdoor setting. The aisle meadows, statement barrel florals and that ceremony arbor came together even better than I pictured. 😍

We’re officially set, styled and ready for these two to get married! 🤎

Now I’m putting my phone down before I give away too much. 😂 More to come after the celebration!

A sweet Georgetown wedding moment from last weekend. 💕

Jessica was such a joy to work with, and I loved creating a few special floral touches for her intimate wedding at Williams Grove here in Georgetown.

We designed these lush floral urns to frame the ceremony, along with Jessica’s keepsake bridal bouquet, bridesmaid floral hoops, and the gentlemen’s boutonnières. I loved her mix of pinks, lavender, blue and soft greenery — colorful, romantic, and just right for this beautiful outdoor setting.

Small wedding does not have to mean small on the pretty. 🥰

Just because the florals are finished before we arrive doesn’t mean our work is done.

Every venue is different. Every arch sits a little differently in its space. And once we see the design in the actual ceremony setting, we make those final adjustments — filling a gap, changing an angle, adding movement, fluffing, tweaking and stepping back approximately 47 times 😂 — until it looks exactly the way it should.

This is part of the Lavish experience: delivery, installation, styling and those little on-site details that take a beautiful design and make it feel completely finished.

I intentionally accept only a limited number of full custom weddings each month because custom floral design takes time — lots of it! I leave a minimum of two weeks between custom weddings so I can give each one the attention it deserves.

From designing and sourcing to weeks spent in the shop building, tweaking and perfecting every detail, your wedding has my full attention long before I ever arrive at your venue.

So while 2027 may sound far away, my custom wedding availability is limited by design. Once those dates are committed, they’re committed. 🌸

One of my favorite things about custom wedding florals?

No two weddings should look the same. 🌸

Right now I’m beginning the design process for my next TWO weddings, and they couldn’t be more different.

First up is an intimate micro wedding for Jessica & Judd at Williams Grove here in Georgetown on August 29.

Then just one week later, we go BIG for Vee & Wuzu at Vintage Oaks Ranch on September 5.

Different venues.
Different guest counts.
Different floral visions.
Same obsessive Lavish attention to every little detail. 😂

This week is all about pulling inspiration back up, selecting flowers, planning mechanics, checking inventory and figuring out exactly how I want each space to feel.

And this is usually the point where my shop goes from beautifully organized to complete floral chaos again. 😂
