As a veteran’s spouse, I have learned so much over the past 10 years about navigating the VA health care system. I have also learned that with programs, policies, benefits, and procedures constantly changing, there will always be something new for us to learn.

This goes out to anyone in the Mohave County, Arizona area who is interested in helping our veteran community — veterans, spouses, caregivers, family members, and anyone who has knowledge or experience to share.

Maybe you know something about VA travel reimbursement, getting the right ID, filling out a certain form, using commissary or exchange privileges, Community Care, prescriptions, appointments, or simply who to call when you need help.

We need your knowledge and your experiences.

I am starting a resource binder specifically for our veterans group so that the things we learn can be shared instead of each person having to figure everything out on their own.

You don't have to know everything. You may know just one thing that could save another veteran or spouse hours of frustration.

I truly believe that when one part of our community flourishes, the whole community can flourish.

🇺🇸 Let’s help each other navigate the system, share what we’ve learned, and build a stronger veteran community together.

I am so incredibly proud of our community! I want you all to know that the food drive we had " accidentally" reached lake havasu. A person who had seen are call out to help our community had made a donation and we are greatly appreciated. As someone who has relied on food banks and his volunteered, sees the necessity of them we are greatly appreciative for all that you have done. Thank you Rita for making the delivery to the Golden Valley events food Bank.

❤️ **SPECIAL FOOD DRIVE REQUEST!** ❤️

We’re adding a special request to our food drive for a few items that are especially helpful in our high desert heat:

🥜 **POWDERED PEANUT BUTTER**
🥛 **POWDERED MILK**
🧈 **POWDERED BUTTER — ESPECIALLY NEEDED!**

Even though many foods are considered non-perishable, **extreme heat can affect the quality and shelf life of traditional products.** Powdered products are more shelf-stable, easy to store, and can easily be divided into smaller portions for families.

Even better, these items can help **complete other food bank donations**:

🥔 Instant mashed potatoes + powdered milk & butter
🧀 Macaroni & cheese + powdered milk & butter
🥞 Baking mixes + powdered milk & butter
🥜 Powdered peanut butter + water = ready-to-use peanut butter

❤️ **A LITTLE EXTRA CAN HELP COMPLETE A MEAL!**

📦 **HOW TO DONATE**

You can drop off your food donation directly at **Tradewinds RV Park**.

🛒 **Want to send a Walmart delivery instead? You can!**

Please include this note with your delivery:

**DELIVER TO THE OFFICE**
**NAME: FOOD DONATION**

That way, we'll know exactly where your donation belongs when it arrives.

One item, one bag, or one box — **every donation counts!**

Have questions? **Please call the Tradewinds RV Park office and we'll be happy to help.**

📦 **FILL A BOX • FILL A SHELF • FILL SOMEBODY'S HEART** ❤️

Call now to connect with business.

Pretty AWESOME! Right outside of our park in The Off Road Diner and Cantina parking area is the Mohave County Mobile Health Care Van. I just went over and got my blood pressure checked and couple of other things. They can provide lots of resources including for Veterans. If you live at Tradewinds you can get a drawing ticket just for going over and talking to them. Only one person left for the free wash & dry however.

🇺🇸 A NEW PLACE OF HONOR AT TRADEWINDS 🇺🇸

We are proud to share the newest addition to our Tradewinds community — our Veterans Memorial.

Created to honor the brave men and women who have served our country, this special place gives us an opportunity to remember, reflect, and say thank you.

To our veterans at Tradewinds, our past guests who served, and the veterans within the families of our guests and friends:

We see you. We appreciate you. We honor your service.

❤️🤍💙 Fallen, But Not Forgotten.
