Several Offshore boats headed out to the blue water this morning. They had choppy conditions but it didn't keep the Dolphin from biting. They had both Gaffers and bailers in their catch. They also had a Wahoo and a few Blackfin Tuna. Sea Creature released a Blue Marlin and Release released a White Marlin. Inshore boats had good catches of Bluefish and Red Drum.



It was the first day of the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. It opened with 278 boats entered. 219 boats fished today with 73 catches.

The big boats stayed home today due to rough conditions and getting ready for the Big Rock Tournament. The Inshore boats had good catches of Red Drum and Bluefish and released a few Speckled Trout.

Offshore boats had a good day of Dolphin fishing, catching both gaffers and some bailers. They had a few Wahoo and some Blackfin Tuna. Chaser released a White Marlin and Release released a Blue Marlin. Inshore boats had Red Drum and Bluefish.





Today was the first leg of the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament with the Keli Wagner Lady Angler Tournament. 252 boats fished with a total of 120 catches for the day. The first place boat released 4 Blue Marlin and a Sailfish for 1725 points.

The Offshore fleet had good fishing today. They had some Dolphin with both gaffers and some bailers hitting the decks .They also had a few Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna. Chaser released a Blue Marlin. Sundown released 2 Sailfish. Inshore boats got onto the Dolphin action while others had good catches of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and Red Drum.

The Offshore boats stayed to the docks today while a NE gale wind is blowing us up. Inshore boats had epic fishing with Red Drum on the bite. Red Drum get hungry on windy days and they also make great fish tacos. Some boats also had good Bluefish catching.

The Offshore fleet headed out with the promise of sunny skies. They returned to the dock under black clouds threatening rain. The fishing was a bright spot. They had very good Blackfin Tuna catching and very good Dolphin catching. They also had a few Wahoo. Several billfish were released. A Salt Weapon released a Blue Marlin. Cuervos released a Sailfish and Release released a White Marlin. The Inshore boats had catches of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish.

The last day of May saw one boat sneak out this morning. Wind and waves were still high on the blue water but Carolina Girl was close enough to home to not be in the washing machine and got onto the Dolphin. They also had a Sailfish on the line but were unable to bring it to the boat. Happy anglers decked both gaffer and bailer Dolphin to make for a successful day. Inshore boats had catches of Bluefish, Cobia, Red Drum and a Shark.

A few of the big boats ventured out this morning. They had Dolphin on the bite with both gaffers and bailers. They also had pretty good Blackfin Tuna catching and some boats had a few Wahoo. Release released a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish. Inshore boats had good catches of Bluefish and Sheepshead.
