Wow, what a wonderful turn out for this beautiful Labor Day weekend!! Few scattered storms last night and a bit of a rinser this morning, but boy did we luck out from what the forecast was leading up to this weekend...wish you had been here!! Next big community event is the Day at the Docks-Hatteras Village, NC celebration! We hope to see you all here enjoying the tradition of celebrating our waterfolk on the island ♥

Wowza, and just like that it's August, and what a wonderful season it has been so far...aside from some squally weather gumming up the works here and there we are so happy and thankful for all of you making the best of it with us! Did you know: to find out how far away a thunder storm/lightning strike is...once you see the flash, count until you hear the thunder, then divide by 2. But best to play it safe, when thunder roars head indoors...

We are one day closer to having our phone situation sorted out...until then keep sending us emails to [email protected] for your inquiries and reservations...In other news, it's going to be a scorching few days with heat indexes into the triple digits, make sure to hydrate and keep and eye on folks who may be susceptible to heat stroke or heat exhaustion

Don't let the forecast fool you, it could turn out to be absolutely beautiful here, and a perfect time to get away for a few days.
