The Broken Bridge Loco Moco is Ka Lihikai’s take on one of Hawaiʻi’s most iconic comfort-food dishes. Layering kimchi fried rice with savory short rib and a fried egg cooked to your liking and topped with rich house gravy, this hearty combination tastefully balances bold, savory flavors with the spicy tang of kimchi, the richness of tender short rib, and the silky goodness of a perfectly cooked egg. This Halloween we are honoring the community heroes who have been stepping up big time this storm season. 💪🏽For all the First Responders and boots on the ground, the Hilo Business community is coming together to host HEROWEEN: a free concert where the first responders are our VIPs. 🫡 All are welcome to this free event with live music from Eli Mac, Kaikena Scanlan & These Guys, Sudden Rush, TJ Fevella & the Maui Country Band, Kona Town’s Finest and DJ Woozy. 🎶 In addition to the music, there will be a keiki zone, trick or treating, food vendors and b**r garden. While the event is free, we will be accepting donations for Community First Hawai’i to support their ongoing rebuilding efforts in Ka'u. Bring your chairs, your 'ohana and your aloha to Heroween at the Grand Naniloa Driving Range, Saturday October 31 from 1-7pm. 👻🎃🤙🏼
