Waipio Rim B&B Waipio Rim is an upstairs studio for two guests. At an elevation of 900 feet, it offers drop away views into Waipio Valley from your priviate deck.

The view includes the black sand beach, taro patches, whales in the winter,and Maui on a clear day.

Waipi‘o Valley offers a glimpse into old Hawai‘i, and now you can have a cultural workshop learning experience there. It starts with an orientation, then they take guests down into the valley for cultural protocol and storytelling at the Āpua Ti House below Hi‘ilawe Falls. Make lei, enjoy lunch, and take a guided cultural hike around ancient Nāpo‘opo‘o taro patches and Hi‘ilawe Stream. Learn more at https://bit.ly/467iCFS.

Have a cultural stewardship experience in Waipi‘o Valley and learn about cultural protocol and the area’s history. Groups are transported into the valley in a 4x4 UTV and taken to the ti house below historic Hi‘ilawe Falls for mo‘olelo (storytelling) and orientation. There’s a guided hike around the ancient Nāpo‘opo‘o kalo patches and Hi‘ilawe stream (moderate difficulty). Then participants help with hands-on stewardship activities, such as restoring ancient kalo patches, planting kalo, caring for native plants, removing invasive species, and more.
