OBXML was built in the 1950's and therefore holds strong to the 'Old Nags Head' feeling that the Outer Banks was built on. As you step out of your oceanfront door your toes are in the sand within four feet!!! We also have poolside rooms that are a short walk to the beach. We have 4 rooms that are pet friendly (but they are not oceanfront). Major renovations finished spring of 2022. Front office hours vary by season.

Tullio's Bakery in Duck, is absolutely worth the drive up to Duck. Tell Dawn we sent you and bring me back a cinnamon roll, or cannoli or Italian ricotta cookie. 😋

Crumb cake in the passenger seat is how a North Carolina beach trip quietly becomes a bakery mission with sand attached.
