There's encouraging news about the rebuilding of Lahaina after the August 2023 fire. 45 homes have been fully rebuilt, and overall close to 1000 homes are in process from permit to completed.
Commercial rebuilding is slower, mainly due to permit process, but several commercial property owners say they expect to start rebuilding by end of year. It is coming back!!

Fall is the perfect time to visit Maui, the weather is great and it's less crowded. Picture yourself in this pool and spa, and book our condo at Mahana at Kaanapali.

A serendipitous stop at Papi's Ohana at 11:45 on a Friday morning means no lines, you walk right in, and score one of the last four cinnamon rolls in the shop. Add that to a lovely hug from the sweet proprietor Linda...we are blessed! I do recommend getting there earlier though, they often sell out 😉

One more reason to book our Mahana #717 condo? You're just a 15 min. walk to Maui's newest bakery, Pau Bakery. We tried their empanadas, cinnamon rolls, and other yummy delights. Fantastic!

Agreed! Maui is very romantic!

FunJet Vacations released the findings of a poll it conducted looking into the most romantic destinations in the world. According to the survey, a whopping 34 percent of respondents said Maui was the most romantic destination in the world, surpassing Paris by a full percentage point.

We're happy to say that 13 night gap booked quickly, so those whales will not go "unwatched" 😉 One booking was over 7 nights, so we happily refunded the cleaning fee after they said they saw my original post. Watch for other specials to come!
