I rarely offer much comments on shared videos, but I wanted to tell you just a little about Mr. Tyson’s visit.

Not only was he a great guest and genuine during the interview, he was even more impressive off camera in how he treated every single person he encountered.

From the moment he walked in to the Double Tree Hotel, he made sure each person he interacted with felt important. Shook hands and introduced himself to everyone. EVERYONE.

At the end of the meetings, most speakers allow for pictures with our members. Thanks to DeWaine Duncan, it’s one of the most seamless and efficient picture taking sessions you could ever have. But this one was a little different.

As each of our members got their picture taken afterwards, the process was a little slower than normal. It wasn’t because our guests were taking their time(they know the drill).

It was Mr. Tyson. He would ask them all sorts of questions as they walked up.

“What’s your name?”
“Where are you from?”
“What do you do?”

He took time to listen to them as they shared who they were.

We’ve had some amazing speakers over the years and he ranks up there as one of the best. Not just for what he said, but how he treated everyone in the room.
