🎥 2 months of work in 2.5 minutes!

🎉 'Mission Accomplished' has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

These photos say it all. They tell a story about an old Methodist Church camp with a dire need — and the call for help answered by a hundred donors from across Montana and beyond.

Our cabins will no longer be threatened by Pine Creek! Work is 99.5% complete on Phase 1 of our Peaks to Pine revival. Upstream and downstream banks have been excavated, riprap laid, trees embedded the bank, canvas put down, and the slopes re-filled and seeded — just in time for spring runoff to really pick up.

God is so, so good! And so are you, our Luccock family members. We'll never get tired of saying "Thank You!"

Thank you so much to our wonderful volunteers and staff for making today a productive work day at camp!
We were able to clear a ton of debris from the December wind storm, as well as get a few buildings ready for our first group next weekend!
As always, this is your camp and we so appreciate your labor of love giving back to camp.

While we take a break from stream news, because it snowed for the second Thursday in a row, let me announce our Luccock Work Day! May 9th, we are asking for anyone with a chainsaw to come help us cut, clear, and control the winter debris around camp. There will also be hauling and burning going on, so all hands welcome.
All day, with lunch provided!
We hope to see you soon!

🌲 Sometimes, God provides in a way you least expect it!

A powerful December windstorm knocked down a dozen trees in camp. We considered ourselves blessed at that time that none of them caused any significant damage. Little did we know they'd start a new life helping us protect our cabins from the creek!

Our Peaks to Pine campaign has been filled with countless unexpected blessings just like this. One blessing we knew we could count on: you!

Excavation has begun on the stream bank. More updates to come!
